Piece's of info...

  • The whole premise of our "recycling" program is to "save" our customer's money, when knowing it is possible to use their own glass and mirror for projects such as shelves, door mirrors, framed mirrors, and furniture covers. We leave it to your imagination. It further saves land-fill space.
  • We have a wonderful "Glass and Mirror" cleaner...SPRAYWAY that can be used on many items besides the above. It brightens up faucets and handles, cleans marks off of floors and walls, and leaves counters, sinks, and tiled walls with a really fresh smell.
  • Risk Factor: Items brought into Accent Glass to be cut down, polished, chips removed..etc...are at the customer's risk. Even though breakage sometimes occurs because of different factors, we try our very best to keep it to a minimum. Accidents do occur, but not often.
  • Delivery Charges: Nominal delivery charges have to be charged because of the time it takes away from other jobs to be done, labor to be paid, trucks to be used including gas, insurance premiums, and the wear and tear on our trucks. We try our best to keep those charges as low as possible, but it all depends on the distance that we have to go, the number of items that have to be delivered, the time that it takes to deliver them, and the number of employees that have to be used (very heavy and large table tops may require the presence of three or four mechanics).
  • Contracts: It is our standard practice for sub-contract work to have a written contract stating the description of the work to be done, material's, price, estimated lead time, and term's for payment. We also require this contract to be signed by the individual who will be responsible for payment. We highly recommend to the customer to fully review the proposal and ask any question's before they sign and return the contract.
  • Methods of payment: We take Cash, Checks w'ID's, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. A $32.00 charge will be added to all returned checks. Billing will be at the owners discretion. Those wanting to pick up their orders quickly, may pay over the telephone with a credit card. All paperwork will be completed by the time you arrive for pick up of order.
  • Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday 8:AM - 5:PM, and on Friday 8:AM - 4:PM. On Friday our mechanics usually leave by 1:PM, so after that time, only orders can be placed or picked up. We do not close for lunch. Arrangements can always be made for pickups, if there are extenuating circumstances.
  • Telephone Quotes: If a quote is given for an "unseen" item...it will be considered a "Ballpark" quote, which cannot be honored if dimensions or thickness change upon seeing the item. It is best to bring in whatever the item is, so that options can be given correctly. Always, try to get the salespersons name, so that you can be given to them, if you come in or call.
  • Help w/Heavy Items: Always feel assured that someone will help you at Accent Glass to bring in or take out your heavy or awkward items. Try to let us know ahead of time, and we will be on the lookout for you, and be ready to help the moment you drive up. If you have a health condition that prevents you from getting out of your car...just let us know, and we will be more than glad to give you curbside service!
  • Answering Machine Messages: When leaving a message, please be precise by letting us know when you called, your name, telephone number, and what question's or need's...and we will get back in touch with you as quickly as possible.
  • Glass Samples: Can be provided for those who have clients or for those who just need to make a decision on a particular pattern in the setting in which it will be used.
  • Frame Routing: Although we do not do "frame routing" for cabinet doors that need an opening for glass, we can provide you with a name of one of our business partners. After the routing is complete and the raw edges have been painted/stained, we can then install the glass into the frame.
  • Mirrored Furniture/Accessories: There is a "risk factor" in repairing mirrored items. Every effort is made to match "as close as possible" the mirror that is being replaced.
